I am writing to invite your readers to check out my Web site at www.tommillican.com. I am asking because I will be making a campaign stop in Athens soon. I will alert you to the exact date.
I am an independent candidate running for the presidency of the United States. I am a clear alternative to any of the mainstream candidates. When you and your readers access my Web site, you will see why. I have the economic plan that will best reward college graduates to help them pay off their college loans.
My economic plan will bring jobs back to America and return America to its destined industrial leadership. Ohio is a victim of free trade
i.e. NAFTA. So are the graduates of Ohio University. My plan will put more people back to work, more money in their pockets for savings and investments while not having to fill out another federal tax form.
To accomplish this, I will need the help of people who are really sick and tired of being told one thing and getting the same old seven and six. The two-party system in America is broke. Only an independent-elected president can produce the real change that is needed to keep America from bankruptcy. Bankruptcy? You bet, and it's knocking at our front door now. It's the dirty little secret that everyone in Washington knows about but is not willing to take it on. Did you hear any presidential candidate before the Ohio primary talk about the $65.9 trillion that will be due and payable over the next 20 years?
The budget that Bush presented to the U.S. Congress in January totaled $3.1 trillion dollars. America will need that much each year over the next 20 years beginning in 2010 just to pay for the interest on our borrowing, social security and Medicare.
This indebtedness has the potential to wipe out all the dreams and aspirations of every student at Ohio University. To run the government and pay the bill will require at least the doubling of federal taxes putting them in the range of 78 percent to 90 percent if we do nothing and doing nothing about this is exactly what the remaining presidential candidates will do 'nothing!
Thank you for this space and I will be in contact as to when in April I will be in Athens. I look forward to meeting many of you then.
