In response to Unnamed sperm donors allow for selfish parents by Ashley Herzog:
Not only was the column by Ashley Herzog highly offensive to minority groups that include those that relate to sexual orientation and gender crisis, but the arguments presented were not supported by anything more than the author's closed-minded opinion. The approach on Mr. Beatie's situation by referring to him as a he with quotes has a derogatory connotation and defeats the advances in social acceptance of diversity we have struggled to make in modern society. The author continued to prove her own opinion invalid by attacking Beatie for being inseminated rather than his wife, Nancy, who was clearly unable to have children.-
