America needs change but not kind Obama offers

Yes, Obama has proved himself to be the epitome of change. He has changed traditions and changed minds and changed the standards by which we measure a person capable of running our country.

Experience. Who needs it? What we need in Washington is someone who is young and fresh! Three years in the Senate is perfect for him to be unspoiled by the poison of politics. Or it leaves him vulnerable to the workings of politics, not just here but abroad. What real foreign relations does he have? Oh yes, an endorsement from Hamas.

Intelligence. We're all fed up with a bumbling Bush. We want someone who is well educated and a captivating speaker! We need a person who not only understands intellectual concepts but also really knows the American people. Well, Obama hit the nail right on the head, didn't he? Americans in all 57 states turn to religion and guns because of economic hardship. With that Ivy League education, too bad he wouldn't have passed the naturalization test to become a citizen (knowledge of how many states there are is key). But at least he put my faith and me in perspective.

Religion. Oh yes ' Obama has even changed this. Despite criticizing Americans for turning to religion out of economic despair and his even more controversial friend Rev. Wright, Obama had one more trick up his sleeve. A flier appeared just before the Kentucky primary with Obama at a pulpit with an illuminated cross behind him. I won't be fulfilling God's will unless I go out and do God's work

he says. So, where is the ACLU? Where are the critiques of Romney, Huckabee and Bush? Why are we not crying out that Obama's faith is going to get in the way of his ability to be president?

Yes, Obama is an agent of change, an agent of double standards and spin. We can talk about how McCain doesn't have firsthand knowledge of the experience of black men, but if I question Obama's firsthand knowledge of white women, I'm a racist. I congratulate Obama on his ability to pull the hood over America's eyes with talks of hope. Too bad those talks begin with problems and who to blame, not how to fix it.

So the question now is how long will it take for Obama supporters to open their eyes and look beyond posters and pretty speeches. Yes, America needs change. Let's start with the educational institutions creating Obama's biggest supporters. Why are college students, who are supposed to be critical thinkers and proponents of intelligent thought, ignoring the hypocrisy of this election? Change ' you can do it, before it's too late.
