Your turn: Fascism not the way to run America

I was extremely upset to read the letter promoting fascism in The Post on Friday. I realize that we live in a country where freedom of speech is a right to every citizen, but it should also be The Post's responsibility to think before they print. This love letter to fascist ideas was, simply put, nauseating. Especially considering that the letter was printed a day after Yom Ha'shoah, the Jewish day of remembrance for the Holocaust.

As Ms. Goldsmith put: In fascism

there's hope for humanity to evolve beyond the seething clawing huddled masses we've become today. If we recall, the fascist regimes of Italy and Germany during World War II did not let people evolve but killed off millions of people who did not fit their ideal. Ms. Goldsmith wants to build a bridge between classes and genders, but that is not what fascism showed us in the past.

I may not always agree with candidates from either side of the political spectrum, but I hope that all realize that fascism is not and will never be the way to run America or any other country in this world.
