Sen. Obama now has an economic and social plan to help low-income women. Well, isn't that interesting? Good for Obama.
But where is his plan to help low-income and no-income black and white males?
He's great on blaming the victim in his campaign sermon on black males who are missing-in-action fathers. Apparently, he never had an introductory course in sociology.
I will vote for Obama and sincerely hope he climbs off of his high horse to experience the real world of social injustice.
Perhaps then he would have the common sense and compassion to derive human rights from human wrongs.
To put it another way, parental responsibility is fine and dandy. But it can be expedited by a concept of human rights that comes from an understanding that poverty and drugs castrate human responsibility.
