The Athens County Commissioners held an open call Wednesday to hire employees for the Athens County Dog Shelter and offered employment to two people.
The shelter has been operating with two employees since early August when two other employees quit. -
added Mohney. The search continues for adequate personnel for the shelter.
There is always a benefit to the shelter and the animals when there are more employees said Mohney.
