OU lineman suspended for disorderly conduct

Ohio offensive lineman Tommy Stuck was suspended for two games Wednesday for a violation of team policy, team officials said.

Stuck was charged Sunday with disorderly conduct, a minor misdemeanor. Stuck's case was resolved in Athens County Municipal Court Tuesday after he paid $99.00 in fines and court costs, according to court records.

The maximum penalty for a minor misdemeanor is a $150 fine. A minor misdemeanor is a non-jailable offense and the offender is not eligible for a jury trial, said Pat McGee, managing attorney with Ohio University's Student Legal Services. -

it is pretty much automatic that it will go through our system as well Sands said.

Stuck's disorderly conduct charge has not been classified as alcohol-related.

The Athens Police Department and Ohio Football Coach Frank Solich could not be reached for comment.

Jason Corriher, director of media relations for the Bobcats, could not disclose any details about Stuck's situation or the disciplinary action taken by the team.

There will be no details forthcoming Corriher said. He was suspended for two games for a violation of team rules and policies. jp280306@ohiou.edu
