Pop my culture: Walmart a necessary evil for those on tight budget

These days, every counter-culture advocate has something negative to say about Wal-Mart. With favorite businesses shutting down because of the arrival of the corporate giant, the progressive has leaned toward one objective ' hate Wal-Mart and all its evil.

The statistics are no secret: Wal-Mart underpays its employees to the point of exploitation and offers no health care benefits. The company gives little back to communities while robbing from small business. Even the number of parking lot abductions goes up daily. When one thinks of the quintessential evil corporate maniac, Wal-Mart takes the cake by a landslide. So naturally, the rebellious move would be to stop shopping at the mega store, encourage others to do the same and wear the popularized Patriots Don't Shop at Wal-Mart button.-
