Women's Golf: New coach leads Bobcats to opener at Penn State

First year coach Kelly Ovington and her team will head to Pennsylvania tomorrow for their season opener at the Penn State Invitational.

Ovington has only worked with the team since Sunday because of league stipulations on summer practicing.

She hasn't coached since 1993 when she was with the University of Cincinnati.-

Ovington said.- said junior Colleen Lienesch.- Ovington said. There is a group of girls here who want to make this a quality team.

The Bobcats view this weekend's match as a good test.

Tomorrow the golfers will play 36 holes and finish up with 18 more on Sunday.-
