Over the past few months, I have become a coffee connoisseur. It began with my internship, where getting up at 6 a.m. for a 45-minute drive became grueling without caffeine.
I was always the occasional coffee drinker, and by coffee I mean frappuccinos from Starbucks. By the end of the '07-'08 school year, I was driving up to Kroger about three times a week to get my frozen drink fix. Yes, I knew it was expensive, but no other coffee shop in town made it quite like Starbucks.
I knew going into the summer I wouldn't have the opportunity or the finances to begin going to Starbucks every morning for any kind of beverage, so I began gauging my options. -
