pointed out the absurdity of the McDavis' contract. I, along with many other members of the community, believe the contract to be undemocratic and unjustifiable. As an active member of Students for a Democratic Society, as well as a Student Senator, I would like to clarify; there will not be a resolution urging McDavis to return his salary increase to the university presented to Student Senate this week. However, this resolution will be presented at a later date as the student body urges Student Senate to take a stance on this matter and to support returning the funding to where it needs to go: back to the university.
