CLEVELAND- The Bobcats are off to a 25-21 lead after a relatively uneventful first half.
The loudest the crowd got was when guard Justin Orr hit a three-quarters court shot well after the buzzer sounded to end the half.
Steven Coleman leads the team in scoring with eight points. DeVaughn Washington has five points.
After scoring one point against Bowling Green on Sunday, Jerome Tillman is off to another slow start with just three points and one rebound.
Ohio fell behind by as much as six points, 7-13 with about 13 minutes to play, but on the back of their freshman guard, the Bobcats stormed back.
Coleman scored six of Ohio's next 18 points, including two free throws that ended the half.
Both Tillman and Coleman are in foul trouble, however, with two fouls each.
The Bobcats have held the Broncos to just 26 percent shooting. Western Michigan is also just 4-of-9 from the free throw line.
