This year's Student Senate election is an opportunity for the student body of Ohio University to steer its governing body - Student Senate - in a new direction.
iOU is an organization of diverse, dedicated students that esteem honesty, forward thinking, and innovation. Running as a team of executives and senators, iOU is dedicated to fostering a positive, progressive community with the deliberate intention of improving OU and surrounding communities.
We intend to do this, first and foremost, by establishing a closer relationship between senators and you - the student body, our constituency. iOU realizes that in order to best address student concerns and represent student opinions, Student Senate must openly and directly communicate with you about your ideas and about our actions. Thus, during this campaign season, we are interested in discussing and incorporating your ideas into our vision for a better Bobcat experience. Speak with us; we want to hear you!
