The Bobcats entered the final day of the UK Bluegrass Invitational in 10th place.
Yesterday, however, the Bobcats shot a field-best 292 and surged into a tie for fourth place.
We played really well on Sunday
which was progressing through the weekend coach Bob Cooley said. We also had better conditions on Sunday.
Junior Chad Warmbein had his best finish of his career by placing second overall with a score of 218 (two over par). Junior Stewart Jamieson shot a 221 and finished in fifth - the second time he has finished in the top five this season.
Jamieson entered yesterday 15 places behind the fifth spot, but shot one under to capture the spot.
Junior Tim Gusweiler had the best round yesterday, shooting two under par. Gusweiler finished in 27th place.
Three guys played well Cooley said, That is what you need.
The Bobcats will be off for almost two weeks before playing in the Fossum Invitational in Lansing, Mich., which is their final regular season match. The time off may affect the Bobcat's momentum.
We just need to practice

and work on our weaknesses
