Athens Community and Students:
As I am sure many of you have heard, the date has been set for the 4th Annual Athens Beautification Day. On Saturday, April 18, 2009, many of you will be participating in giving back to the Athens community by picking up trash, washing windows on Court Street, and landscaping elementary schools. This project was founded by the Men's Club Water Polo Team with the intention to bring the Athens community and students together, while improving the town that encompasses us all. In order to uphold the reputation of past Beautification Days and the standard that has been laid before us, we will need several more members of the university and Athens community to participate as volunteers. Recruit friends, family, faculty and student organizations and ask them to participate in this fantastic community service effort. For more information, please e-mail mh391004@ohiou.edu.
