Ohio University hired a new assistant athletics director for ticket operations, the athletics department announced yesterday in a news release.
Chris Radford replaced Carmen Greene, who left OU in late August, said Jason Corriher, assistant athletics director for media relations. Greene earned an annual salary of $36,050. Yesterday was Radford's first day as an OU employee.
Corriher referred a request for Radford's salary to the university's legal affairs department.
The athletic department seems to be on the rise
which I like Radford said. I'm just extremely fortunate to be here.
At OU, he will oversee the ticket department's budget and game day operations. He reports to Associate Athletics Director for External Relations Dan Hauser.
Before coming to Athens, Radford served as the ticket manager at the University of North Carolina Wilmington for almost two years, according to the news release. The Wilson, N.C., native oversaw ticketing of men's soccer, women's soccer, men's basketball, women's basketball and baseball.
We are excited to have Chris join our staff Hauser said. His experience with football at East Carolina and basketball at UNC Wilmington will provide great leadership for our department.
Radford earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration at the University of Richmond in 2006 and his M.S. in Sports Management at East Carolina University in 2007. He played college football at Richmond.
