Updated several times a week, this Web site highlights the ridiculous experiences of ordinary people. Think of it as a distant cousin of Texts From Last Night, one of those gems on the Internet that reminds you your life isn't as awkward as it seems. I only wish they would mirror TFLN and make T-shirts with some of these pictures.

Not all of us can afford an Ivy League education, but this site helps us reap some of the benefits. Academic Earth offers free videos of lectures from Standford University, Yale University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, to name a few, in subjects from literature to astronomy. Think of it as Hulu for nerds. So, while you can't get that upscale degree, at least you can observe entire courses and learn great things.
