Ohio's baseball game against Eastern Kentucky scheduled for this afternoon was cancelled because of inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled for May 5 at a time to be determined, said coach Joe Carbone.
The contest, set to match the Bobcats (1-5) and the Colonels (1-2), is the first cancellation of the season for Ohio. The team is coming off a three-game sweep at the hands of Middle Tennessee State this past weekend.
Ohio will see action this weekend when the squad travels to Greenville, S.C., to face the Furman Paladins in a 3-game series. The Paladins face the Dayton Flyers tomorrow at 3:00 p.m.
