Yesterday I leafed through The Post because I hadn't read it in a long time, and I wanted to see what has changed. This was a mistake. I came across John Nero's hipster column. I was reminded why I never read The Post. This column is frivolous and inflammatory.
Why would a student-run newspaper work to further divide current rifts in student population and isolate part of their audience? The column doesn't even satirize hipsters well. I am disappointed at the lack of research and reporting in The Post. The next time I want reliable information or a well-written and entertaining column, I won't be looking in The Post.
