It's official: Ellen DeGeneres is entering the music biz. Ellen announced her new record label eleveneleven yesterday on her TV show. Her first artist will be Greyson Chance, the 12-year-old turned Internet sensation with his rendition of Lady Gaga's Paparazzi. Maybe she'll sign YouTube user GloZell next.

Glee's Lady Gaga episode
I don't consider myself a fan of the TV show Glee (9 p.m. Tuesdays on FOX), but when I heard the fictional choir would be staging the works of Mama Monster yesterday, I had to tune in. All the performances and costumes were fabulous (aside from that piano rendition of Poker Face), but I was more impressed with the way the show addressed homophobia when gay character Kurt was being picked on by his peers. Props to Glee for using its popularity to talk about real problems.
