1. Trippy Green Skull by Dan Deacon - The everyman electronica experiment performs with a green skull on stage and, at one point in his performances, switches off all the lights in the building except for the spasm-inducing green one inside the skull. Plus, the word trippy is in the song's title.
2. Vicious Delicious by Infected Mushroom - Infected Mushroom is every hallucinator's dream, not even trying to hide its association with tripping by naming itself after, well, 'shrooms.
3. Sandstorm by Darude - The high school dance staple is also a tripping staple. Strip away the awkwardness of a high school dance and you're essentially left with a bunch of glow sticks in your brain.
4. Symphony No. 5 by Beethoven - Veteran 'shroom-takers will say classical is the best thing to trip to because their minds can separate the music's individual parts better than they can while sober.
5. 2080 by Yeasayer - Yeasayer may have broken out with this year's Odd Blood
but 2080 is the best song off their debut release. Celebrating a new era, this song celebrates a new era, likely on 'shrooms for some of its listeners. 3
