Pillow Talk: Slippery sex revises shower safety habits

Hello,

I can hear my neighbors having loud shower sex at all times of the day. When I confronted them to keep it down, they hinted to me that I should join them. I have heard that the shower is the most dangerous place in an apartment, what should I do?

- Slippery When Wet

SWW,

What do you say to a couple that wants to include you in loud shower sex? It's pretty simple: You say you're either interested or you're not.

I have no idea whether or not it is true that the bathroom is the most dangerous place in an apartment. I suppose once a person factors in the slip factor from the water, some fun in the tub can seem like an accident waiting to happen. However, if you're not under the influence of any substance that will impair your balance and coordination, and you use standard shower caution such as non-slip tub grips and a hand rail, you probably won't have too much trouble.

A few of my friends have had sex in the shower, and I don't recall any of them having difficulty or incurring injuries. Actually, most of the bathroom banging I have heard about sounded quite enjoyable.

Although shower sex was fun for my friends, I would be more cautious about throwing another person into an activity that is slightly risky for a twosome, let alone the average threesome. Let's just hope your neighbors have a big shower.

Your neighbors might want to have a threesome with you, but it's also possible they don't. It's possible they were just trying to ease the awkwardness from when you confronted them about their great bathroom acoustics. It's possible they were just making a joke. It's also possible this question is fake, but if it is real, don't jump the gun. Until your neighbors show up at your door wearing towels and toting loofahs, expect to keep showering solo.
