I am writing in response to The Post's article on Nov. 8 about the Islamophobia Forum. I was quoted as having said we were planning to talk and learn about the Nation of Islam. NOI is actually more of a political organization that differs greatly from the beliefs and ideals of most Muslims. The discussion last night did not focus on the Nation of Islam, but discussed the issues of anti-Muslim rhetoric in America. I have also sent a message to those in Islamophobia Forum's Facebook group reiterating the error. I apologize for the confusion and sincerely hope I did not offend anyone.
