Ohio softball opened its season last weekend at the Houston Hilton Plaza Invitational in Houston, Texas.
The Bobcats played five games over the three-day invitational and won only once, beating Stephen F. Austin 7-3 Friday.
The Bobcats were outscored 45-18 in the five games, including 32-3 over the final three games.
Senior Jordan Paden led the Bobcats offensively by hitting .500 (6-for-12) with two RBIs in the five games.
