OU President Roderick McDavis will return to his office March 28 after recovering from an unspecified medical procedure.
McDavis has been out of the office since March 14 for the procedure, said Becky Watts, chief of staff to McDavis. The two-week leave was planned.
McDavis has been communicating with university officials about Gov. John Kasich’s budget, released March 15, Watts said. Kasich’s budget proposal, which still must be approved by the state legislature, contained a projected $16.2 million reduction in state funding for OU.
