As I just notified President Roderick McDavis by letter about this, here is a novel and workable method to catch rapists:
Under a legal and constitutional umbrella, a sample of each man’s DNA would be taken at time of his enrollment. The evidence of a rape can be traced via DNA examination of the victim. The trace DNA would be matched with all men’s collected DNA.
A match would be found, leading to arrest and prosecution. A sample specimen of DNA could easily be obtained by a non-invasive scraping of a man’s arm, sampling of his mucus or ear wax, or collection of tears. The sampling would be free of race, ethnic or sexual orientation issues.
The sample would be kept in security by Ohio University medical department. It would be destroyed at time of his graduation and exit from Athens.
This approach should be investigated by the medical and legal departments at OU.
