Ohio University has selected five finalists for the student trustee position.
Juniors Zach George, Victoria Calderon, Tiffany Schlein, Allison Arnold and sophomore Allie Dyer were all named as finalists for the position, said Student Senate President Jesse Neader.
Gov. John Kasich will review the applications and choose from the pool of finalists. The new trustee will be named at OU's Leadership Awards Gala on May 18 and will replace outgoing Student Trustee Kyle Triplett.
"The final five are very strong candidates and a great person to replace me, I guess," Triplett said in the Board of Trustee's Governance Committee meeting Thursday.
