Summer registration delayed again

Ohio University students hoping to register for summer classes must wait at least one more day.

"The earliest that summer registration will open is Saturday, April 30," according to an email from Sean O'Malley, Information Technology communications manager, to students tonight.

"Technical staff have identified and are in the process of fixing the issue that delayed the start of summer registration."

The email does not state what the problem was, but O'Malley did say that OU will send a confirmation email to students tomorrow letting them know when they can register for classes.

The University Registrar chose to make regstration unavailable at 7 a.m. Wednesday after the program began malfunctioning. Wednesday was the first day students would have been able to register for summer classes.
