Athens Police officers arrested an Ohio University student early Friday morning for stealing a composite photo from the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity house.
OU student Cameron M. Ford, 19, was arrested after police found him running away from the house, 12 N. College St., with the $200 composite photo in hand at about 4:30 a.m., according to an Athens Police report.
After being taken into custody, Ford admitted to breaking into the fraternity and stealing the photo, according to the report.
He was taken to Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail and charged with burglary.
Ford’s preliminary hearing at the Athens County Municipal Court will take place May 23 at 2 p.m.
Members of Pi Kappa Alpha did not return calls for comment.
