A pregnant Glouster woman apparently committed suicide early yesterday morning, leaving both her and her unborn baby dead.
The 32-year-old woman, a resident of Red Dog Road in Glouster, was found dead at about 6 a.m. Monday from an apparent suicide by hanging, according to an Athens County Sheriff’s Office news release.
After her live-in boyfriend found her, he and other residents attempted CPR, according to the release. She was transported to O’Bleness Memorial Hospital.
The woman’s baby was pronounced dead at O’Bleness at about 8 a.m., according to the release.
The case remains under investigation.
