A rainy, tame Mill Fest led to 33 arrests yesterday and ended prior to midnight.
The party began early afternoon and continued until about midnight. The party ended prior to midnight because of a three-hour block of rain and thunderstorms, according to a news release from Assistant Service-Safety Director Ron Lucas.
Athens Police and Ohio University Police officers arrested 13 people by about 1:15 a.m. and Liquor Control officers arrested another 20 people, according to the release.
Athens County Emergency Medical Service had to treat at least two people for minor injuries during the party, according to the release.
