A Glouster man was arrested today in connection with an investigation involving two daycare centers in the Trimble and Dover Township areas.
Thomas Shifflet, 75, was arrested on one count of rape, according to a post on Sheriff Pat Kelly’s Facebook page.
On June 27 of this year, Shifflet allegedly raped a child under the age of 13.
Arraignment has been scheduled for tomorrow and Shifflet is currently being housed at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail.
Further charges are expected to be filed, Kelly stated in the post.
