About 36 hours after going missing, the Athens man who failed to return home from a Rotary Club meeting early this week has been located.
Ismail A. Ghazalah, 78, was found in Portage County, Ohio, after the Ohio State Highway Patrol notified the Athens Police Department of his location.
Ghazalah, diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, is fine and family members are planning to pick him up at this time, according to a news release.
On Monday, Ghazalah was believed to have gone missing after attending a Rotary Club meeting at the Ohio University Inn on Richland Avenue.
