One month after Doug Bentley resigned as the director of the Athens County 911 Center, the interim coordinator was picked out of a pool of four applicants to take over the position.
Scott Warner, who has worked with the 911 Center since March 2006, took over as director today following the Athens County Commissioners meeting.
Warner’s new salary will be $45,760.
“The commissioners ranked the four, and one applicant was number one on everybody’s list,” said Athens County Commissioner Lenny Eliason.
The other applicants who applied for the position were Susan Emmert and Dan Pfeiffer of Athens County EMS along with Rober Deardorff who works for the 911 Center.
