Post Letter: We can't blame entire Muslim population for 9/11

My memory of 9/11 was my cable was not hooked up at the time and I had to get to work. So when I got to work, I heard that four planes had been hijacked and two planes had hit the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and there was a plane crash in Pennsylvania.

I was in shock at first, which turned to anger and blame, and I wanted President Bush to get those responsible.

But my views have changed over the last 10 years. I once held the Muslims responsible, and I had thought of them as  evil. Not now.

My girlfriend is Muslim and she lives in Van, Turkey. She taught me that all Muslims are not evil or anti-American.

To blame all Muslims would be like blaming every German for the Nazis. Not every German or German soldier went along with Hitler.

Look up Operation Spark and Operation Valkyrie if you don’t believe me. So in fact, every German was not evil, and the same thing can be said of Muslims.
