At tonight’s Ohio University Student Senate meeting, senators will discuss the possibility of joining their book-exchange website with a new, similar service called FourYears.com but will avoid the topic of a resolution addressing Senate Bill 5.
FourYears.com is a resource website for OU students to list their used textbooks, find a textbook they need, and write reviews of professors and classes. OU alumnus Ryan Verner recently presented the site to senate, and senate members will discuss his presentation and share their opinions at tonight’s meeting.
The next order of business will be to appoint Glen “Ed” Gaither as the senator for the University College. The previous senator did not have time to continue working with senate, Student Senate President Kyle Triplett said.
Senate might also be discussing the need to fill the South Green senator spot; the previous South Green senator also had scheduling conflicts, Triplett said.
Senate will meet at 7:15 tonight in 235 Walter Hall.
