Students walking past the fourth-floor entrance of Ohio University’s Baker University Center today can pie school administrators in the face.
OU’s Student Personnel Association is allowing passersby to pie students and administrators in the face today to raise money and awareness for the organization.
The Student Personnel Association chose this event and placement to raise awareness of both the organization and administrators who are doing the jobs that organization members hope to step into someday.
“We pride ourselves in being a fun organization,” said David Manley, a second-year master’s student studying college student personnel and the president of the Student Personnel Association.
Students can pie other students for $2.50 and administrators for $5. Earlier today, Sujit Chemburkar, executive director of Baker Center and Event Services, took a shift, and students dropping by for the rest of the day can pie Kent Smith, vice president for Student Affairs, and Dean of Students Ryan Lombardi.
“I’m excited,” Smith said. “I’ve never been pied before.”
