Campus Care is almost done being patched up.
Kent Smith, Ohio University’s vice president for Student Affairs, visited the facility today to check on the planned renovations, which he said are projected to be finished Nov. 28.
“I’m just hoping this timeline sticks and we can make it in time for Winter Quarter,” Smith said. “With construction, anything could happen.”
Smith sits on the Campus Care Advisory Committee, which also includes members of Student Senate and Graduate Student Senate.
The committee received an update today on the renovations that will expand Campus Care’s facilities to two floors and twice the exam rooms.
There will be an open house closer to the building’s completion, Smith said.
“This is going to be really great for students,” Smith said. “The bottom line is I’m excited. This is a long time coming.”
