The Athens County Engineer announced today that he will run for re-election in 2014 for the ninth time.
Archie Stanley placed his name on the ballot for the 2012 Democratic Primary race for County Engineer announcing his candidacy for the position, according to a release from the Athens County Board of Elections.
As current County Engineer Stanley presides over rebuilding of county highways and bridges and the operation of the Engineer's Office, according to the release. He has held the position for 32 years.
Currently, Stanley is the only person running for County Engineer in 2014.
