A 54-year-old man is current incarcerated in the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail for trafficking and possessing 177 total balloons of heroin.
Ronald Young, of The Plains, made his initial court appearance this past Friday for trafficking 110 balloons of heroin and “possessing and tampering with” another 67, according to news release from Athens County Prosecutor Keller Blackburn.
Young’s bond was set at $180,000 cash or surety.
The case was investigated by the Athens County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Enforcement Team.
