Today Mike Posner left the stage for a while and made a surprise visit to Ohio University’s College Green.
“I was just chilling playing Frisbee,” Posner said.
Surrounded by a crowd of students, photographers and iPhones, Posner has surely been well recieved. And the feeling is mutual.
“I just love it here, look at all the hot girls,” Posner said.
Fans like freshman Communications major Hannah May were consumed with excitement as they lined up for autographs and pictures for their Twitter and Facebook accounts.
“This is so cool! I can’t wait to get a picture with him,” May said.
The visiting pop singer is also planning to personally evaluate Ohio University’s number one party school reputation.
“I am going to go out tonight and fit one semester into one night,” Posner said as he posed for pictures with fans. “I’m going to drink Jack Daniels and love it."
As the crowd on College Green continued to grow, Posner welcomed each fan with a smile and a firm handshake.
"He is just so chill,” Bethany Scott and Heather Farr, seniors at Ohio University, said.
Posner's nonchalance has helped develop a buzz around tonight's concert.
“It is a great opportunity for the campus,” Dean of Students Ryan Lombardi said as he shook Posner's hand.
