A fire set at Foster House this morning was ruled arson.
The fire was lit and contained to the common ground level of the South Green residence hall, where the laundry room is located. There was minimal damage and no injuries reported, according to a news release from the Division of State Fire Marshal.
State Fire Marshal investigators took fire debris for analysis at the State Marshal Forensic Laboratory. They are not ruling out a potential connection with Oct. 19’s True House fire, according to the release.
The Blue Ribbon Arson Reward, up to $5,000, is being offered to anyone with information regarding the fires.
