The City of Athens Enginnering and Public Works has announced two street closings during the coming week.
Cable Lane, which runs north of East State Street, will be closed between numbers 35 through 39 from 8 am Tuesday, January 3, through 4 pm Friday, January 6. The closure is for slip repair activities, according to a posting on the City of Athens' website.
President Street will also be closed from Thursday, January 3, through Friday, January 6. AJ Stockmeister, a contractor, will be working on the street, according to the post.
