Ohio University Concert Series Adds New Events

The Ohio Univeristy Concert Series has added three new events for the upcoming Winter Quarter. SNL head writer Seth Meyers, improv troupe Chicago City Limits and country music performers Jerrod Niemann and Lee Brice will all be making their way to the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium in January and February.

Chicago City Limits will perform during Dad's Weekend, on Saturday, January 21 at 8:00 p.m. The improv group has the longest running show in New York City and uses cues from the audience to shape each performance. All tickets for this show are $18 and the Ohio University Concert Series has noted that some content in the show may be inappropriate for younger audience members.

On Wednesday, January 25 at 7:30 p.m., Jerrod Niemann and Lee Brice will bring their Higher Education tour with special guest Tyler Farr to Ohio University. These country music stars have been traveling to college campuses across the country to perform for the past year. Tickets in the first 10 rows cost $30 and the remaining tickets are $20.

Seth Meyers, best known for his work as the head-writer and host of Weekend Update for Saturday Night Live, will perform a comedy show on Friday, February 24 at 7:30 p.m. Meyers has worked at SNL for ten seasons and has been the shows head writer for five seasons. Meyers also hosted President Obama's correspondents dinner this past year. Tickets for his show are $35 for the first 10 rows and $25 for remaining seats.

Tickets for the Chicago City Limits are on sale now and tickets for the Higher Education tour and the Seth Meyers performance will go on sale Wednesday, December 21 at 12 p.m.
