Athens County Sheriff deputies arrested the culprit of a coin theft in December today after she confessed to the crime.
Crystal Radcliff, 28, of Athens, was arrested by today in connection with a December theft of a $7,500.00 coin collection taken from a Channingway Boulevard residence in The Plains, according to a news release from Athens County Sheriff Pat Kelly.
Sheriff Captain Bryan Cooper arrested Radcliff after she confessed to stealing the coin collection and pawning the collection at the Collectors Corner in Chauncey, according to the release. Radcliff committed the theft while she was cleaning the residence as an employee of Service Master Cleaning company.
Radcliff appeared in court today and a court date has been scheduled.
