The Nelsonville City Council will meet tonight for a regular session meeting at 7pm in the City Hall Council Chambers, 211 Lake Hope Drive.
Council will talk about a range of subjects including recreation, streets, utility, finance, judiciary, planning and development, and police and fire.
Members will also hear the second reading of the resolution approving the Athens-Hocking Solid Waste Management Plan that was adopted in November. The first reading of the resolution was heard at the City Council meeting two weeks ago.
Council will also hear the first reading of an ordinance authorizing the issuance of $125,000 of notes in anticipation of the issuance of bonds for the construction of a new pool.
The first reading of an ordinance authorizing the city manager to submit an application to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for the Nature Works Program funding will also be heard.
