Last night The Crystal said in a twitter message that an individual was allegedly assaulted on Jan. 16 at 10:53 p.m. behind the uptown bar on Saturday Jan. 14.
Both Athens Police and Ohio University Police said they have no record of an assault on Jan. 14. The Crystal was unable to be reached for comment.
