Ohio University’s Culinary Services has added a new line of sweets to West 82 in Baker University Center.
Jumbo cupcakes are being sold bake-sale style near the bakery section of the cafeteria — and students who stop by today can get a free sample.
“We’re introducing a new cupcake line from our bakery,” Associate Director of Retail Operations Kent Scott said. “We’ll be selling them every day for $2.25.”
The cupcakes on display come in a variety of gourmet flavors, including mandarin orange with pineapple icing and red velvet with cream cheese icing.
For those who don’t like to experiment with exotic flavors, classic vanilla and chocolate are available, too.
