Vancant since 2008, the building that once housed The Blue Gator, 63 N. Court St., may have a new owner as soon as March.
Earlier today, the pending sale of The Blue Gator was confirmed by Ohio Reality realtor John Wharton and Zoning Board President John Paszke.
Wharton said the deal is contingent upon the buyer leasing sufficient parking for its upstairs residential quarters.
The zoning board meets tonight, but the sale will not be discussed because the buyer missed the deadline to have the property added to tonight agenda.
The next zoning board meeting is scheduled for March 13. In order to make the agenda, the buyer must have their suggestions filed by Feb. 28, Paszke said.
Both Paszke and Wharton declined to comment on the identity of the potential buyer.
