I’m voting for Jeff Maiden for Athens County engineer. Mr. Maiden will apply his years of engineering design and construction experience to the betterment of Athens County.
The current county engineer administration has been too long in office. While it served the county well in its prime, those days are long gone.
Mr. Maiden will be on the job full-time, will treat the citizens and property owners of Athens County with respect, will save the county money by engineering solutions for county road and bridge problems, and will lend expertise to many county boards and commissions.
He will not pay excessive overtime for FEMA work that should be done by the county engineer and salaried staff members. He will have a much more hands-on approach than does the incumbent.
I hope you will join me in supporting Mr. Maiden as the clear and better choice for your next Athens County engineer.
